How to send lead information to Klaviyo
Use the "V2 (legacy)" version of the documentation if the "V3 enabled" toggle is not enabled under "Settings -> Styling".
To send the information properly, you will have to configure a form and map the Qonfi form fields to the correct Klaviyo form fields.
When you connect Klaviyo to Qonfi, all entered information including the answers given by your user are send to Klaviyo. This way you have a complete overview of your user's needs when following up a lead. You can send lead information to Klaviyo in two ways.
Option 1: Using forms to gather information
1. Go to Settings -> Apps and click "Klaviyo".
2. Enter the Klaviyo API key.
3. Click "Connect".
4. Enable "Send answers and contact data to Klaviyo" in your form step or follow-up.
To learn more about forms, check out how to create and use custom forms in your flow.
Option 2: Using the results e-mail feature to allow users to subscribe to your newsletter
When you have enabled the "Results e-mail feature" and Qonfi is connected to Klaviyo, a checkbox will appear "Subscribe to our newsletter.".
When a user checks this checkbox, Qonfi will enable the "marketing" consent for this user in Klaviyo. If this users didn't exist yet, a new profile will be created in Klaviyo with the given e-mail and the "marketing" consent will be enabled.
Using the "Qonfi Adviced" and "Qonfi Advice Email Sent" events to follow-up leads
Qonfi automatically fires two events:
- Qonfi Adviced: Fires when a user has seen the advice.
- Qonfi Advice Email Sent: Fires when a user has mailed the adviced to him/herself.
With these events, the adviced product information is also send to Klaviyo.
This allows you to use this information in your follow-up e-mails. Let's for example, send a follow-up email to a user that sent the advice to him/herself but hasn't made a purchase after 5 days.
Following the Klaviyo how-to page on how to do this, you'll end up with something like this:
And an e-mail like this:
Please note: This is just an example to demonstrate using adviced products in your e-mail. What the e-mail would look like is totally up to you using the Klaviyo e-mail editor.
Using a different API key for languages
In case you have a different Klaviyo API key for each language in your flow, you can simply add different API keys by going to Settings -> Apps -> Klaviyo.
You can also only override a single language. For empty values the "default language" API key will be used by default.
