How do I start with the Product Check?

Integrating the Product Check on your website is straightforward and can be set up quickly. Follow these steps to get started:

1. Preparation and activation in Qonfi:

1.1 Go to your flow and navigate to "Settings -> Product Check > Enable product check". 

1.2 Next, head to the "Feed -> Mapping" section. Here, you need to link the "ID" property to the unique product ID in your data feed. This step ensures that the Product Check can retrieve and process the correct product information.

2. Adding Code to Your Product Page:

2.1 Make sure you have added the Qonfi script (step 1) to your website. 

2.2 Click Publish flow in the top right corner of the Qonfi interface.

2.3 Click on the step 'add to website'. 

2.4 Click on 'manual placement' in the top right corner.

2.5 Click on 'With product check'

2.6 Decide which integration you want to place Qonfi (sidebar, popup, in-page). When choosing popup or sidebar, simply add the shown “data attributes” to the button on your page that should open the popup or sidebar.

2.7 Add the code to your product page. Replace “PRODUCT_ID” with the dynamic product ID (e.g. product.id) on your product page. Do not hardcode product id's in the code and make sure that the product ID on your product page resonates with step 1.2. This code ensures that the Product Check is loaded on your page and visible to your customers.

Product check button hidden by default when product ID does not exists
The Product Check button is hidden by default. When your product page loads, Qonfi checks if the given product id actually exists in your flow before showing the Product Check button. This way, you don’t have to worry about the Product Check button showing for products that are not in your flow.

Testing the Product Check in advance

Do you want to quickly see how specific products perform with the Product Check? We have added a handy simulation feature to the Qonfi preview interface, allowing you to easily test how the Product Check works with your products.

Follow these steps to start the simulation:

1. Navigate to the preview interface:
   Go to the Qonfi dashboard and open the preview interface for your product pages.
2. Use the simulation feature:
   Click on the "Preview" tab.
   Go through your entire choice assistance to see how the Product Check performs with your products.
3. View the results:
   You will immediately get an overview of how the Product Check evaluates your products and what recommendations are made. This provides you with valuable insights into the tool's functionality and helps you make any adjustments before launching the tool live.
