How to use Conversational Guided Selling
Enable Conversational Guided Selling
- Go to the Settings tab of your project.
- Navigate to the Conversational AI section.
- Click on "Enable Conversational AI".
After clicking Enable, the following settings will appear.
1. General settings
- Agent image – Upload an image that will appear in front of the product expert.
- Agent name - Give your product expert a name (e.g. Lisa - Duvet expert)
- Agent expertise – Write a short and clear instruction that explains where the product expert is an expert in. Example: Help users find the perfect duvet.
- Language - Select the language the product expert should use when responding to visitors.
- Input placeholder - Enter the text visitors see before they start typing. Example: "Type your message here…"
- Optional: Property whitelist - Use the property whitelist to exclude sensitive feed properties. For example if you have a property in your feed regarding the product margin, exclude it. This prevents that the product expert has access to these details and use it in the response to a user.
2. Safety settings
- Safety check - The safety check is triggered when the product expert is not yet adequately trained or lacks the confidence to provide an appropriate response based on the user’s question. You can choose how strict the product expert should be. When set to “Hard”, the product expert will trigger a safety response faster than when set to “Soft”. The 'soft' safety check is the default. When you are selling vitamines or give medical advice, we recommend you to use the 'hard' safety check.
- Safety check response - Specify the message displayed to users when the safety check is triggered.
3. Going live
After editing your settings, the product expert is ready to go!
For flows which are already implement on your website, you can simply publish your latest changes by clicking on publish > publish current configuration. For new flows, you can now implement your new flow on your site.
