Qonfi vs. Aiden | Comparing Guided Selling software
We are happy to help you choose. You can make the best decision when you clearly understand the differences between two guided selling providers. Qonfi and Aiden are both Dutch providers of guided selling (product finder) software. While the software has many similarities, there are also some differences. Think about the price, the way of implementation, the 'made with [Brand] logo' in your selling guide with the starter package, and the duration of the contract.
In this article, we highlight the differences and similarities between both providers.
1. Quality: Qonfi vs. Aiden
How does the quality of these two platforms compare? First, it’s important to clarify what we mean by quality.
Encyclo.nl defines quality as "the degree to which something is good or bad."
Similarities
To be honest, the quality of both Guided Selling providers is excellent. However, Qonfi offers more options and features. Still, there are many similarities. Both platforms are stable and highly rated by their customers. They both provide a product recommendation tool (product check) on the product page, and both can integrate with Spotler Activate (Squeezely). You can find a detailed feature comparison with the similarities here.
Differences
But what about the differences? What can you do with one platform that you can’t with the other? Qonfi offers more possibilities and features. For instance:
- Automatically translation your flow into other languages, allowing you to manage just one flow.
- Creating custom product bundles. Directly recommending the right products and quantities.
- More external app integrations available.
- Use calculations in your flow.
- Further personalisation in your flow.
- Use existing information from your website in your flow.
- More AI-features.
- More insights.
- Free 14-day trial.
Feel free to get in touch to discuss the specific differences for your shop.

2. Pricing: Qonfi vs. Aiden
Aiden Guided Selling Pricing
Aiden offers various pricing plans tailored to your needs. Essentially, there are three different plans: 'Essential,' 'Professional,' and a 'Custom Plan.'

Update July 2024: The prices for Aiden are no longer visible on the website. Therefore, this comparison is based on February 2024. Current prices and the comparison below may differ.
Aiden Essential Plan
Aiden's prices start at €449 per month for the 'Essential Plan'. The ‘Essential plan’ at Qonfi is €99.99 a month. Since Aiden requires a one-year contract, this amounts to €5,388 per year. With this plan, you can place one guided selling widget on your website. When you place the product finder on your website, a 'made with Aiden' logo will be displayed. Additionally, you cannot connect GTM and GA4, which means you will miss out on valuable insights and cannot enrich your GA4 data. You also cannot use 'Aiden AI'.

Aiden Professional plan
If you are willing to pay €9,588 per year (€799 per month), you can place four guided selling widgets on your website with the 'Professional Plan'. This plan allows you to connect GA4 and GTM, enriching your GA4 data and enabling deeper analysis. The product finders will be displayed without the 'Made with Aiden' logo, and you can use Aiden AI.
Aiden Custom plan
If you need more than four guided selling widgets, you can request a custom price proposal.
Qonfi Guided Selling Prices
You can find Qonfi's prices here. Each plan starts with a free 14-day trial period. Qonfi offers five different pricing plans, depending on your usage and needs. You can put together your own plan, depending on your usage and needs. You can choose between a monthly subscription (cancelable monthly) or an annual subscription. Prices start at €99.99 per month based on an annual contract.
Since Qonfi offers multiple pricing plans, and to ensure a fair comparison, we will only explain the differences between the most similar pricing plans.
Qonfi Essential vs. Aiden Essential
Both the Essential plan of Aiden and the Essential plan of Qonfi allow you to place one guided selling widget on your website. However, there are some differences.
With Qonfi, you can connect to GA4 and GTM by default, regardless of your plan. There is also no 'made with Qonfi' logo displayed, and you can use 'Qonfi AI' to quickly set up your guided selling software.
Additionally, Qonfi offers the Essential plan for €99.99 per month with an annual subscription, whereas Aiden offers it for €449 per month. The annual difference is €4,200.

With Qonfi's professional plan, you can place four guided selling flows on your website for €339.99 per month based on an annual contract.
The difference on an annual basis is €5,508 excluding VAT.
2. Negative Impact on SEO and Page Speed - iFrame (Aiden) vs. JavaScript (Qonfi)
The implementation of the guided selling tool is handled differently by each provider. There are several ways to implement the tool you create in Qonfi or Aiden on your website. One option is through an iFrame, while another is via a simple JavaScript snippet.
It’s important to understand the difference, as using an iFrame can negatively impact your website’s performance and SEO. When you add a product recommendation tool from Aiden to your website, it is embedded as an iFrame, where the tool is loaded.
Qonfi, on the other hand, does not use iFrames. With Qonfi, the implementation is done using a simple JavaScript snippet.
The negative effect of an iFrame on your SEO rankings
But what exactly is an iFrame? An inline frame (iFrame) is a piece of HTML code that allows you to embed a page from another website (in this case, Aiden) into your web page. iFrames can also be used to embed YouTube videos, Google Maps, or social media posts. iFrames primarily impact SEO because they can slow down page load times. This can negatively affect your SEO (according to neilpatel.com), making you less visible organically in search engines like Google. This seems to be one reason why iFrames are being used less frequently, as shown by the following graph from trends.builtwith.com.

Google Recommends Against Using iFrames
Google also recommends against using iFrames. Last year (April 2023), John Mueller (a Google guru in Search) said the following in an interview with Search Engine Journal:
“Website owners should consider alternatives to iframes, as iframe content may face challenges in being indexed and appearing in search results.” (searchenginejournal.com)
Integrating Guided Selling Widget via JavaScript (Qonfi)
In recent years, new alternatives to iFrames have emerged, claiming to be safer, faster, and more SEO-friendly. One such alternative is a simple JavaScript. With Qonfi, you can easily use a JavaScript snippet to place your guided selling widget on your website. A major advantage of JavaScript over an iFrame (neilpatel.com):
- More SEO-friendly compared to an iFrame
- Provides more control and flexibility (custom CSS styling is possible)
- JavaScript is generally faster (Qonfi script is about 45 kb in size)
- Easier for search engines to crawl

4. ‘Made with Aiden’ Logo in Guided Selling Widget Starter Package
Aiden includes a ‘made with Aiden’ logo in the guided selling widget when you choose the cheapest package (€449 per month). While there is nothing inherently wrong with this, we believe it slightly detracts from your own brand image. Qonfi does not include logos by default, making it appear more as if the guided selling widget is your own.
5. Monthly vs. Annual Cancellation
With Aiden, it’s not possible to cancel on a monthly basis. Qonfi offers the flexibility to cancel monthly or choose an annual subscription. You can even try Qonfi for free for 14 days!
